Bernard Loyd - President
Bernard serves as president and project leader, principally responsible for developing the UJ team, setting direction, securing resources, and leading execution of the work. Born on Chicago’s West Side, he grew up primarily in Liberia, West Africa. He received a doctorate in computational fluid dynamics and masters of science in business from Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Before founding Urban Juncture, Bernard was a partner at the management consulting firm of McKinsey & Company. He and his family reside in Bronzeville.
